It was good but I did expect a little more

We had no turn down service We had upgraded for a higher floor and we were put on the 3rd floor This is my 4th time staying and I have to say when you pay over 500 for a room and dont get a turn down service and you pay for an upgrade you dont get it was disappointing

Clean, plush and comfortable
We checked in late at night as scheduled and decided to call for in-house dinner. We tried calling the in-room service line a few times but no one picked up so we assumed that they were either busy or short of staff, or both, and were ok with that. So we called reception to just check that this was the case and maybe try heading out instead. The person who answered was very abrupt and short, and literally just said,"What do you want?", then after listening to our quick order, answered,"20 minutes" and promptly hung up. We felt like we had inconvenienced him. The worst part was the food that arrived was appalling bad. The pie had already half fallen apart and melted, the salmon rice had small pieces of triangular salmon "chips", a very cold half a ?fried/poached egg and soggy rice. The mud cake was a stale hard brick. These cost us $70+. Just a big letdown. We weren't expecting anything flash and would have gone out to the 24hr dairy nearby if we had known that both the service and the food would be so subpar.

loved the place.
Loved everything about it except for having to pay for water to drink at the restaurant, never had to pay for water anywhere else and would have loved a free compliment bottle each in our room. very friendly easy to understand staff, will definately come again.
